Looking for an explainer video to boost your sales or make your website more engaging? Well, with the way technology is rapidly expanding, if you’re not by now you should be. A Forbes study has revealed 59% of CEO’s would prefer to watch a video over reading text and 75% say they watch work-related videos on business websites at least once a week. So, here are my top three tips for when you start looking to get a video created. Tip #1. Nail the script. I believe first and foremost it’s the story you tell that entertains audiences. It’s not the technology, it’s not the way something looks. It’s the story. Ensure you engage a company who employs professional script writers. Or hire your own. I know it’s tempting to think you can write a world-beating script yourself but if you haven’t written one before then leave it to the professional who specialises in the format. Likewise with Fivver. Sure, you can get a video made on Fivver for five dollars but it’s highly unlikely they will be employing a professional script writer. Tip #2. Pick a format that’s right for you. 3D animation, talking head, whiteboard animation, cartoon animation, there is a style for everyone. At MrYScribe we specialise in whiteboard animation. The latest research and our own in-house studies show whiteboard animation video has one of the highest engagement rates of all video formats. And that’s what you want isn’t it? Your audience to engage? Tip #3. Engage a company who has a history and a genuine profile. Video is the next big thing on the internet today and companies are popping up everywhere to take advantage of the business growth. Make sure the company you engage is a reputable company who have produced work for real companies. Check out their projects page and look at their previous work. Is it what you are looking for?
